Yay!!

I gots a new phone!

I am a little undecided actually...

sorry phone. It's not that it's not cool. It's more that I've been helping mom figure out stuff on hers and well... now I like hers. Mine is fun too though! Don't get me wrong. I got an enV2 and it's neat-o! I love the keyboard, wasn't sure I would, but I do. I just need to play around with it. Gots to figure out where everything is. I'll really like it when I have all of my music on it. That will be even more fun, I enjoy getting to use mom's phone to listen to music so it'll be fun to do the same with mine.

But we'll see in a few weeks time. I'll probably love it! I definitely already love it more than my old phone.


On a different note...Valentine's day is this weekend. As we all know... I'm pathetically single, but a group of friends/family is getting together and going out to eat. So Saturday is going out to eat with friends.

Then Sunday is one of said friend's baby shower! So that will be fun too. Busy busy weekend!

Welp I'm off to play with the fun some more.

Cleaning day... *eesh*

Ok... I admit it.... I can be really organized. I can! But usually.... not so much.

And of late.... yeah not really at all.

But .... and it's been a long time comin'... cleaning day is finally here.

I think...

I mean so far it's going ok, it's starting to look like a habitable room again... but I bet I could be doing a far superior job.

If I buckled down and really got too it.

If it does get cleaned completely I'll take a pic and post it!! Maybe that'll be insentive for me to really hunker down and get to it....

Dishes, Dresses and Drifting Snow.... oh my?

So let's do a quick run down of the weekend.

Friday finally got over to Sarah's to do the cleaning I said I would do. Played a little P.o.p first then got down to business. I was proud of the amount I got done, but I kinda felt like I should have been able to do more.But Sarah was pleased so, all's well and all that.

Later went out to Lindsay's we got some food for several of the people who work with her fiance and of course ourselves. *Mmmm Joe's* then we went shopping at Walmart. When we got back we decided to play a little RB, and that again it was time for make-overs!! I don't know why we like to completely change our look on the game from time to time, but we do. Sarah was going to come out but it was rather late, she was tired, we were tired so I just headed back. Not to mention we had to get up early the next day.

Saturday, when we were up bright and early, we headed off to Farina for bridesmaid dress shopping. Let me just get this off my chest right off the bat... It would have been a total fun filled day if I were a size 12, just a size 12. 14 wouldn't have been that bad but OOOOHHHH NO! I am definitely not in that size frame. It's just wrong! The first place had lovely people working there and a nice range in style and color of dresses but not in sizes. Oh they would order a lot of different sizes but they didn't carry samples of those sizes in their store. Which is just wrong. I'm not saying have every dress in each size in your store, but try to have a dress size in each style. Is that so hard. Then you at least get a better idea of what 'dress x' looks like because 'dress g' has a similar build. I mean come on!!

Anyway the second place we tried, on a whim. Wasn't so bad. One it was close to closing time, two we didn't have an appointment. So the people were nice, just not right there wanting to help us all the way. Which ya know it was like 15 til closing, I don't fault them. They at least carried dresses in a more varied of sizes. But we didn't really find what we were looking for there. *Sigh* So next Saturday we are going to a D.B., as far as we know they tend to carry a much more varied size in dresses so that will be good.

Now that's not to say we didn't have a good time, we were goofing around in the car with the camera. Just taken silly pics. And we always joke around, so the whole trip was fun, just would have been that much better if we could have worn some dresses.

Anyway, I went out to Lindsay's with her, we watched some tv with Mr. Bradley. Later when Sarah came out we watched a movie, had some chili and played a little RB finally!! She got to see our new looks! It was fun!!

Sunday was the big game day, you know the finale in football, yeah apparently there is a big stink over saying which bowl it is but I think you know what I mean. Didn't go anywhere or do anything really. Just stayed here with the fam, had some pizza and lil wienies. Watched the game, wasn't that interested in who won or who lost. But it was a good game.

Nothing really monday, dad was home tryin to make his room look nice for the guy who was bringin over his new machine. I've already forgotten what it's called but, it keeps you breathing while you sleep. We went out to eat together but really it was a pretty low key day.

....ahhh now we come to it...

Tuesday, snow day for mom, so she was home. Lindsay text me about a possible job at Bradley's work that I need to apply for. I'm all for it. BUT at about the same time, a friend and co-worker of my mom's called and told her about a possible job opening. I really hope I get this one. Not that B's place of work would be bad, but I'd love to work in an office if I could, not to mention I would pretty much be hired on as full time right away, not as a temp. I'll take whatever I get, don't get me wrong. Just if I had a choice, I want the 8-5, no weekends job. Eh just me.

So anyway mom and I decided we better put an app in right away, we want to be first!!! So we decided, after having lunch with papa that we would head out. Well some of us (ME) had to fix their hair so they looked pretty. (What I want to make a good impression) So took the time to do that, print out my resume and then off we went to Effingbird!

And OH MY GOSH!!!! The drifts were horrible! Ok not the whole way, but bad enough, plus snow was being blown around so there was no visibility. As always there were a few jerks on the road. You know the ones, they never drive properly but it's even worse in bad conditions. Yeah they were out in full force. Sad! But mom and I had an alright time, after filling out the app, we headed to Wally world for some stuff, she got stuff for her valentines and a new cd, I got stuff for Missy's baby shower and some new books. YAY BOOKS!!! We jammed out to Coldplay on the way home (New cd ya know?)

All in all a somewhat busy time I've had. It's a good thing I don't have a job yet cause I would have been swamped!! But I do hope I get one soon!!!

Please hire me places I'm applying too!! PLEASE!!!
